Murphy & King Received Tier 1 Placement in 2021 IFLR1000 Firm Rankings for Restructuring and Insolvency

Murphy & King, Professional Corporation announced today that the firm received a Tier 1 placement among law firms in Massachusetts for Restructuring and Insolvency in the latest IFLR1000 United States firm rankings. In addition, Harold B. Murphy, Shareholder and Founder of Murphy & King’s Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Group, also received a “Highly Regarded” ranking for Restructuring and Insolvency. The “Highly Regarded” ranking features lawyers who are ranked in three key features and held in high regard by their peers. This is the third consecutive year that the firm and Mr. Murphy have been recognized by IFLR1000. The rankings are based upon independent research conducted by IFLR1000 and focuses on financial law.

“Murphy & King is pleased to once again receive top tier recognition from IFLR1000 for our Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring practice,” said Murphy.  “Our team is comprised of the very best in the field and the top tier ranking by IFLR1000 shows that our firm’s hard work of providing expert and practical legal counsel is being recognized by others who closely monitor the industry.”

In addition to Harry Murphy, the firm’s Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring practice includes attorneys Charles R. Bennett, Jr., Christopher M. Condon, Kathleen R. Cruickshank, D. Ethan Jeffery, Andrew G. Lizotte, William R. Moorman, Jr., Bruce F. Smith and Marc P. Tetreault, Jr.

The IFLR1000 United States firm rankings cover every state and the District of Columbia.  These rankings celebrate the best-performing law firms and lawyers across the United States and recognize practice groups, firms and lawyers that have performed exceptionally, both locally and nationally. The firm and attorney rankings are based upon three criteria: transactional evidence, client feedback and peer feedback.

The IFLR1000 is a guide to the world’s leading financial and corporate law firm and lawyers.  Since 1990, the IFLR1000 has produced legal market intelligence and ranks law firms on the basis of financial and corporate transactional work.
