Dan has 20 years of experience as a corporate lawyer delivering comprehensive legal services to businesses, investors, and individuals across numerous and diverse industries. Dan works closely with clients from business formation to exit and all stops along the way. He is experienced in managing both routine and intricate business, partnership, and financing transactions.
Dan is also skilled at employment matters and guiding clients through disputes with partners, vendors, customers, and former employees.
Lastly, Dan not only advises businesses as a lawyer, but he is also a proud co-founder of a multi-state recycling company that has been in operation since 2018 and employs 100+ people. Dan continues to serve the business in a much more limited role as a Board member and strategic advisor. This experience on the “business” side of multi-million-dollar capital raises, leasing, and working with lobbying firms to help guide legislative efforts has proven invaluable to Dan as a practicing business lawyer.

- Represent a client purchasing a multi-location ServPro franchise business, then represent the same client when selling the business 5 years later.
- Advise a start-up health services client in a $5m convertible note financing, followed by guidance with respect to leasing and complex regulatory matters.
- Counsel to a high-net worth family office on numerous matters, including investments, asset dispositions, and third-party disputes.
- Preparation of a multi-member, multi-state partnership agreement in connection with a dance studio acquisition.
- Represent three separate hospitality groups in their financings, acquisitions, and ongoing general counsel needs for their combined 25+ restaurant locations.
- Counsel to a multi-state public cannabis company from inception, through IPO, and beyond.
- Outside counsel to an international sustainability advisory firm focusing on sustainable infrastructure and building projects
- Represent a start-up software company in a $10m venture-backed equity financing in connection with the launch of a college campus security software platform.
- Advise a family-owned construction firm in the transfer of ownership from the parent owners to their 3 children
- Counsel to a renewable energy advisory firm through two financings, a partner buyout, and eventual sale of the business to a large public company.
