July 25, 2019

Murphy & King attorneys Harold B. Murphy, Charles R. Bennett, Jr., and Christopher M. Condon win key ruling in NECCO bankruptcy litigation on a question of first impression in Massachusetts.  In denying a motion to dismiss, United States Bankruptcy Court Judge Melvin S. Hoffman allowed Harold B. Murphy, as NECCO’s bankruptcy trustee, to utilize the Internal Revenue Service as the “Golden Creditor” and pursue fraudulent payments made to NECCO’s lender and owner up to ten years prior to NECCO’s bankruptcy filing.
