Murphy & King Attorneys Contribute at 2018 Northeast Bankruptcy Conference

Murphy & King Attorneys Dan Rabinovitz and Christopher Condon presented at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s 25th Annual Northeast Bankruptcy Conference and 13th Annual Northeast Consumer Forum in Stowe, Vermont, in July 2018.

Dan Rabinovitz contributed to a panel which discussed approaches to complex bankruptcy cases, highlighting criminal issues, a debtor’s interrelated business, contested valuation and confirmation, and preparation for related litigation. The specific focus of Dan’s presentation was entitled, “Spotting Criminal Law Issues in Bankruptcy Matters”. The panel also featured Hon. Michael A. Fagone of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court (D. Me.), James F. Molleur of Molleur Law Office, and Heather Zubke Cooper of Facey Goss & McPhee P.C.

Chris Condon participated in a panel that explored the legal tools and practical strategies available to creditor and equity committees in shaping a Chapter 11 plan that delivers better results for their constituents. Chris was joined on the panel by Hon. Diane Finkle of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court (D. R.I.), Douglas R. Gooding of Choate Hall & Stewart LLP, and Sheila T. Smith of Gordon Brothers.
